Circular economy is an economic system focusing on the reuse or regeneration of products or materials. The concept is to extend the life cycle of materials and products through 5Rs–reducing, reusing, refurbishing, repairing, and recycling, after marketed products are no longer usable due to damage or malfunction, reach the end of their lifespan, or become obsolete, eventually returning them to the marketplace.
