Inventory of South Korean semiconductor suppliers soared US$15 billion on stagnant end demand

As the global economy remains in a trough, unsold semiconductor inventory of Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and DB HiTek hit nearly KRW50 trillion (US$37.5 billion) in total in end-1Q23, the highest in record.
