Samsung Electronics has started slowing down its pace of chip and component orders particularly TV-related display driver ICs (DDI) and SoCs, impacting its supply chains in which Novatek Microelectronics, MediaTek, and other Taiwan-based IC design houses are involved, according to industry sources.
