Infineon lays foundation of its third wafer fab module in Kulim. Construction is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2024. In contrast, Bosch is building a new semiconductor test center in Penang, Malaysia. This center will be used to test finished semiconductor chips and sensors by 2023.
