While US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) offers 30% investment tax credit to encourage establishment of PV power-generating facilities and subsidies for manufacturing of PV products in the US, AU Optronics (AUO) keeps looking on, and will not invest to set up a PV module factory in the US for the time being, said company Energy Business vice president Lin Tien-yu.
