LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Epistar will invest NT$600 million (US$18.8 million) to acquire manufacturing equipment of 6-inch micro LED epitaxial wafers from PlayNitride Display, a subsidiary of micro LED maker PlayNitride, according to Epistar.
