Two China-based battery makers made significant moves recently. Gotion High-tech started to build the first LFP battery factory in Vietnam with local-based VinES. In addition, Svolt Energy filed for an initial public offering (IPO) in China, aiming to raise CNY15 billion (US$2.1 billion).
