China’s leading solar manufacturers are signaling fresh production and pricing restrictions reminiscent of late 2024 measures, according to supply chain sources. Beijing has already cut export tax rebates on solar cells to 9% from 13% in a bid to halt overseas dumping. Market participants now expect that authorities may eliminate rebates entirely within six months.
