Sales in Taiwan’s scooter market may drop by about 5% in 2025, but are expected to recover in 2026, according to Sanyang Motor chairman Ching-yuan Wu during an interview on October 21, 2025. Wu further stated that Sanyang aims to complete capacity expansion by 2027 and push annual global scooter sales toward one million units. In addition, the four-wheel market may see better sales in 2026 than this year, but overall uncertainty remains high.
