Humanoid robots are beginning to move out of pilot programs and technical trials as companies involved in their development push toward early commercial use. Industry participants say adoption is likely to focus initially on a limited number of sectors, including manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, healthcare and elder care, and selected commercial services.
