Nvidia will reportedly invest US$2 billion into energy technology and infrastructure developer Lancium, which is building the Stargate data center campus in Texas. This deal illustrates how AI bottlenecks have expanded to include not only chips used for compute, but also the enormous amounts of electricity needed to support the entire AI supply chain.
