Samsung Display Co. is reported to be restarting construction of a new OLED plant in Asan, South Korea, after a five-year pause as demand rises for foldable phones and OLED panels used in notebooks and tablets. South Korean media reported that the move followed approval of the main structural work for the A7 factory at Asan’s second campus.
