Major European truck makers and suppliers are accelerating alliances to push hydrogen vehicles and refueling infrastructure, as Europe tightens emissions rules and automakers race to avoid missing out on the hydrogen market. But hydrogen trucks still have to prove they can compete with diesel trucks on cost, while also facing pressure from battery-electric rivals.
