Shipments of education-use Chromebooks, which played a pioneering role in the past two years, have hit bottom due to government budget constraints. Nevertheless, it remains premature to say the notebook industry will return to the pre-2019 trend of decline, given that the new lifestyle brought about by COVID-19 is still evolving and there still exists rigid demand for notebooks, especially commercial models.
