As artificial intelligence (AI) increasingly merges with physical robotics, Taiwanese-based Abico Asia, together with Canon and affiliated companies, has signed an investment agreement with US robotics company Agility Robotics, committing approximately US$10 million. The deal aims to accelerate the deployment and development of humanoid robots across Asian markets.
