Coretronic monitor shipments show potential, two new production lines added in 1Q26

OLED applications are increasing penetration in IT products, and backlight module manufacturer Coretronic has been shipping OLED tablets and OLED notebooks for the past two years. There was originally only one production line, but in the first quarter of 2026, Coretronic added two new lines to meet demand. Coretronic expects that monitor products in 2026, covering both OLED and LCD technologies, will see overall shipment volumes grow severalfold.

Qisda names Google Cloud Taiwan GM Cally Ko as president in leadership reshuffle

Qisda’s board approved its 2025 financial results, reporting consolidated revenue of NT$207.9 billion (approx. US$6.55 billion), up NT$6.2 billion year-over-year. Gross profit reached NT$35 billion, operating income NT$3.2 billion, and net profit after tax NT$1.39 billion. Net profit attributable to the parent company totaled NT$1.14 billion, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$0.64.

Jiu Han targets NT$10B revenue by 2030 with NT$11.6B orders in 1Q26

Jiu Han System Technology, a leading cleanroom and turnkey project contractor, reported strong profit growth in 2025 driven by peak construction periods and approval for large-scale projects. Benefiting from AI-driven demand and advanced process manufacturing, the company revealed that its order book as of the first quarter of 2026 totaled NT$11.6 billion (US$364.78 million), with order visibility extending two to three years.

Elan and DSME collaborate on RF front-end chips to target LEO satellite market

The global low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite market is entering a period of explosive growth, with market estimates projecting an increase from US$15 billion in 2024 to US$108 billion by 2035. Given this optimistic outlook, Elan Technology has teamed up with its investment subsidiary DarSheng Mechanical Engineering (DSME) to launch RF front-end ICs for LEO satellite array antennas.
