Taiwan-based flexible PCB maker Flexium Interconnect has recently announced its official entry into R100, a global renewable energy initiative led by Climate Group and the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), pledging to use 100% renewable energy by 2040 to help drive the development of Taiwan’s renewable power industry and reduce the impact of climate change to achieve a sustainable future.
Taiwan had cumulatively installed 143 offshore wind turbines as of July 2021, and aims to reach 200 by the end of 2022, according to Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).
