Carbon-Based Technology (CBT), a Taiwanese carbon fiber composite manufacturer, recently announced it has officially secured the contract for the Albatross II unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology (NCSIST). According to NCSIST’s plan, the company will produce the UAV’s core composite structures and undertake integration tasks, marking a new milestone in Taiwan’s domestic defense drone development.
