The AI Institute, founded in 2022 by Boston Dynamics’ creator Marc Raibert, has been at the forefront of AI and deep machine learning innovations, particularly in advancing Boston Dynamics’ humanoid robot, Atlas. Speaking at Dassault Systèmes’ annual flagship event, 3DEXPERIENCE World 2025, which began on February 24 in Houston, Texas, Raibert shared his vision for the AI Institute to become the “Bell Labs” of the robotics industry.
