Samsung Electronics attended Gamescom 2024, held in Cologne, Germany. With an alleged largest-ever exhibition hall of about 800 square meters, Samsung unveiled its new gaming monitor, the Odyssey 3D.

Kioxia, currently ranked third in the global NAND market, is reportedly set to go public in Japan in October 2024. The move aims to secure funds for R&D and production capacity expansion to catch up with industry leaders Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

Affected by market destocking adjustments, Apple’s operations continue to show lackluster performance as the peak season for 2024 is delayed. Recently, the supply chain has reported that ramp-up production is expected to resume in August and continue until the fourth quarter. However, overall growth remains slow, with the second half of the year projected to have slightly better results than the first half.

报告还显示，今年上半年，重庆京东方光电科技有限公司、合肥鑫晟光电科技有限公司、合肥京东方光电科技有限公司成为对京东方利润影响达10%以上的主要子公司。也就是说，今年上半年京东方最赚钱的是这几家子公司。上半年净利润分别为约13.59亿元、5.51亿元、4.53亿元。
