AI is fueling demand for HBM memory, and silicon wafer company GlobalWafers is gearing up for the demand surge with additional production capacity, according to company chairperson Doris Hsu.

AP Memory Technology, specializing in customized IoT RAM and other DRAM memory, saw a sequential fall in operating profits of approximately 63% in the first quarter of 2024 owing to seasonality. However, the company remains optimistic about its business prospects for the second half of 2024.

Dixon Technologies, a major EMS and ODM provider in India, is broadening its manufacturing footprint through strategic partnerships. The company has joined forces with Nokia and is reportedly in discussions to produce notebooks for HP, marking a significant expansion in its manufacturing business.
