Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) continues to advance its Asia-Pacific broadband network layout. Following the announcement on July 16, 2025, of its investment in the AUG East new submarine cable in Asia, CHT announced on July 18 that the Southeast Asia-Japan Cable 2 (SJC2), which was invested in and constructed in 2018, was officially completed and put into operation on the same day.
