The rapid expansion of Taiwan’s data center market, led by the top trio of US-based cloud service providers (CSPs) and several new entrants, is creating widespread opportunities across the island’s technology sector. During a seminar held on November 25, experts discussed how this expansion is generating substantial demand for hardware infrastructure, creating opportunities for Taiwanese industries in semiconductors, servers, thermal management, networking, power supplies, and storage equipment. They also noted that overseas data centers are increasingly adopting robotic arms for transportation tasks.
