China’s 6-inch silicon carbide (SiC) substrate market is undergoing a structural supply-demand reversal. Driven by strengthening downstream demand and limited production restarts, supply has turned tight. In addition to refusing orders beyond existing contracts, suppliers are set to formally raise prices once current contracts are fulfilled.
