Taiwan has gained international prominence as a supplier of AI computing hardware, but according to Liang-gee Chen, former minister of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) and professor emeritus at National Taiwan University (NTU), users primarily seek AI capabilities and services rather than computing power.
