Taiwan-based heavy electrical equipment maker Fortune Electric has become the first Taiwanese company to secure a contract under the US Stargate Project, a US$500 billion AI infrastructure program initiated by President Donald Trump. The company has won a NT$2 billion (approx. US$67.57 million) power transformer order for the project’s first-phase development in Texas.
