The global semiconductor manufacturing industry ended 2024 with strong fourth-quarter results and solid year-on-year growth across most of the key industry segments, according to a recent SEMI report co-authored by TechInsights. Despite momentum from significant investments in AI applications, seasonality and macroeconomic uncertainties may limit near-term development, making the industry outlook cautiously optimistic at the beginning of 2025.
