Just as the world awaits the US Senate vote on the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) for America Act, Intel announced that Taiwan-based fabless company MediaTek has become a customer of its foundry service business. The win for sure is a milestone for Intel, but MediaTek would be the one to reap multiple benefits.
