Japanese NAND flash leader Kioxia has partnered with Taiwan’s Nanya Technology to develop groundbreaking DRAM technology that reduces component size by two-thirds. This milestone represents Kioxia’s first venture into DRAM development since becoming independent from Toshiba in 2018, extending beyond its core NAND and SSD business.
