Microsoft and Google have unveiled plans to expand their artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in Europe with a combined investment of more than US$16 billion. The initiatives highlight their drive to boost AI and cloud computing capacity while positioning Europe as a growing centre for large-scale data centre development.
