Amid weakening demand for electric vehicles (EV), German automaker Porsche is reportedly set to abandon in-house battery production efforts. As a result, its battery subsidiary Cellforce Group is expected to undergo significant downsizing, with approximately 70% of its workforce potentially facing layoffs.
