Akoustis Technologies, a US-based IDM of bulk acoustic wave (BAW) high-band filters for mobile and other wireless applications, has located its Asia-Pacific foothold in Taoyuan, northern Taiwan, looking to better serve Taiwanese ODMs and explore more business opportunities in Japan, South Korea and China.
