Harman, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. specializing in audio and automotive electronics, has agreed to pay a US$1.45 million settlement for violating US sanctions on Iran. The penalty follows an investigation by the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
