Acer founder Stan Shih, senior economic advisor to Palau, announced on April 15 that Taiwan and Palau will launch collaborative initiatives in zero-carbon shipping and renewable energy sectors under the Partnership Initiative, aiming to create economic opportunities that could attract US-based Palauans back to their homeland.
