As part of its efforts to ease serious domestic talent shortage, the government in Taiwan has recently reactivated its overseas recruitment campaign, which was earlier interrupted by the pandemic, aiming to recruit 60,000 foreign professionals for local semiconductor and new tech innovation sectors, according to the National Development Council (NDC).
