Nissan Motor has been discussing with its French partner Renault Group about investing in the latter’s new EV business unit. Multiple media reports said the Japanese automaker would grab the opportunity to reclaim some control over itself and the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance since Renault will likely off-load part of its ownership of Nissan.
