Three years since the Japanese government’s decision in 2021 to support Taiwan’s large foundry company, TSMC, in establishing a factory in Kumamoto, Kyushu has not only seen growth in infrastructures such as the semiconductor industry, supply chains, and civil transportation, as well as industries such as retail logistics education, more factories have been further affected, allowing many sunset industries opportunities to transform and restructure themselves.
