VisEra Technologies, the optical component arm of TSMC, announced plans to accelerate development of next-generation optical technologies in 2025, with a focus on metasurfaces and their integration into CMOS image sensors (CIS) and micro-optical elements (MOEs)—the firm’s two flagship product lines.
