Beijing-based startup 01.AI, founded by AI pioneer Kai-Fu Lee has officially rolled out its free AI one-stop platform “Wanzhi” tailored for the Chinese market.

Macroblock, a Taiwan-based LED driver IC design house, intends to avoid the red ocean sector and instead focus on increasing high-value-added products such as professional large-scale LED displays, XR display applications, and vehicle LED displays.

To sustain its chip design capabilities, Taiwan must advance its development of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for 3D Heterogeneous Integration (3DHI) and explore next-generation EDA solutions. However, the dominance of companies like Synopsys and Cadence in the EDA market, along with the trend of emerging startups being swiftly acquired by them, raises questions about Taiwan’s potential for EDA autonomy.

近日，《珠海市2024年重点建设项目计划》正式对外发布。根据该计划，今年珠海共安排市重点建设项目319个，总投资3822.97亿元，年度计划投资478亿元，占固定资产投资的26.8%。
