IonQ to acquire SkyWater, accelerating fault-tolerant quantum computing roadmap

IonQ and SkyWater Technology, the largest exclusively US-based pure-play semiconductor foundry, announced a definitive agreement for IonQ to acquire SkyWater in a cash-and-stock deal valued at approximately US$1.8 billion.
