Tablet shipments in India rise close to 70% on year in 1Q22, says DIGITIMES Research

India’s tablet shipments went up nearly 70% on year in the first quarter of 2022 with Samsung Electronics being the largest tablet brand, followed by Lenovo. The two vendors together contribute over 50% of India’s overall tablet shipments, according to DIGITIMES Research’s latest figures. India-based Lava was the third largest tablet brand in the quarter.

韩媒：三星有望获得更多iPhone 14 LTPO OLED订单

韩媒The Elec报道，三星有望获得更多iPhone 14 Pro用LTPO（低温多晶氧化物）OLED订单。

iPhone 14系列取消mini，四机型改为iPhone 14、iPhone 14 Plus、iPhone 14 Pro及iPhone 14 Pro Max。iPhone 14 Pro系列搭配LTPO薄膜晶体管（TFT） OLED，iPhone 14入门款则为低温多晶硅（LTPS）TFT OLED。

LTPO可降低功耗，支持120Hz屏幕更新率，所以给更高阶的Pro系列。消息人士透露，竞争对手高阶LTPO OLED面板产量很低，所以苹果可能给三星更多订单，而三星也从供应商订购更多设备，以扩大产能。

不过The Elec指出，目前面板供应商最大变化，应该是来自iPhone 14 Pro Max，因采用LTPO TFT挖孔显示屏幕。

三星8月底向AP Systems、HB Solution和Philoptics订购更多设备，预计将设备送至三星越南厂。此外，苹果需求增加，三星将iPhone OLED出货目标从1.3亿台提高到1.49亿台。

三星是生产LTPO OLED面板最悠久的公司。早在2020年就为Galaxy Note 20 Ultra生产第一块LTPO OLED，也出现良率问题，但之后生产便趋稳定。（来源：TechNews）
